Accurate hull and deck moulds from plugs machined on a CNC mill.
Spray gel in mould coating (reducing gelcoat weight by about half).
Hull and Deck laminate is 2 layers 165g e-glass twill with sp115 epoxy.
Fin and rudder:-
- Fin - carbon/epoxy/foam, tapered profile with natural carbon finish.
- Rudder - carbon/epoxy/foam thin section with a plain carbon finish.
Standard hulls supplied complete and finished to deck level with servo tray and winch mount, essential deck fittings, fin fitted with finished lead and rudder all ready for installation of radio gear and rigs.
Deck fittings include:-
- Shroud eyes and backstay attachment loop.
- Jib attachment eyebolts recessed into foredeck to keep jib attachment low.
- Jib fairlead loops.
- Blocks for mainsheet pulley and winch line turn around.
- Radio/battery pot.
- Mainsheet post with adjustable insert.
- Adjustable mast ram.
- Carbon rudder push rod and steering arm.
The winch mount is sited in front of the mast accessed through the foredeck with the winch lines driving through the bulkhead.
